About the Case Study

High employee acceptance. This is the unanimous verdict on Condor’s new intranet portal, which AOE implemented for Thomas Cook’s wholly owned subsidiary. The portal had to be implemented within a very short time. With the intranet, Condor wanted to offer its employees an attractive central platform for company-relevant news, internal reports, current statistics, frequently required forms, special employee offers and much more.

AOE's task was to create an intranet for Condor on the same technical basis as that of the parent company Thomas Cook. For the airline, it was of central importance to integrate an existing portal, which was used by the crews as a central information channel, for example for duty rosters and briefings, into the intranet. At the same time, AOE developed an internal marketplace where employees can post, manage and read classified ads. Overall, a visually successful and lively intranet was created that not only impresses customers with its technical implementation, but also with its ease of use.
