Why AOE was voted Germany's most family-friendly employer

Compatibility of family and career – this is more than just an empty phrase for us at AOE. The kununu ranking proves this once again: with 4.71 out of 5 points, we ranked first among the most family-friendly Internet companies in 2019. These figures speak for themselves. What makes us this family-friendly though?

For the fourth time, Europe’s largest employer rating platform kununu and the magazine Freundin evaluated companies for their family friendliness this year. The ranking is based on more than two million evaluations of 175,000 companies in Germany. With 4.71 out of 5 points, AOE received the best rating average in the Internet industry. Across all industries, only three German companies received a better rating than AOE.

The most family-friendly employers by industry

It has always been important to us at AOE that our employees can easily combine job and family: In 2015, we came second in the kununu ranking of employers with the best work-life balance. In 2016, we were rated first in the kununu employer ranking in the Internet and multimedia industry.

Holidays and other absences are arranged directly with the team. In this way, there’s no annoying need to wait for permission from a supervisor. There’s no problem if you have to leave early, come in late or make an appointment in between.
