Stefanie Wegner appointed CEO of AOE GmbH – Christian Steer takes on role of CFO

AOE kicks off the second half of the year with a new dual leadership: As of the end of June, Stefanie Wegner and Christian Steer have taken over the management of AOE GmbH.

AOE GmbH has restructured its management team: Since the end of June, Stefanie Wegner has taken on the role of CEO and Christian Steer the role of CFO. With this leadership change, AOE is strategically reinforcing its operational excellence while creating space to expand its group-wide strategy.

As CEO, Stefanie Wegner will assume overall responsibility for AOE GmbH. In her previous role as Director of Strategic Accounts, she shaped AOE’s client relationships over many years, led major transformation projects, and actively contributed to core business processes. Her goal: to sharpen AOE’s strategic positioning – especially in the rapidly growing AI solutions sector, where AOE is already delivering pioneering results. Her agenda also includes organizational growth and targeted upskilling of the interdisciplinary team.

With Wegner and Steer at the helm of AOE GmbH, Kian Gould (CEO and Founder of the AOE Group) and Daniel Pötzinger (CTO and Co-Founder of the AOE Group) can now focus more intensively on the overall strategy and growth of the AOE Group.

Christian Steer, who is already CFO and Managing Director of the AOE Group, will also assume responsibility for AOE GmbH’s commercial management. This move further strengthens the alignment between the company and the group level.
