AOE and STACKIT join forces: As an official Professional Service Partner, AOE will now support companies in implementing modern cloud-native infrastructures based on the STACKIT platform. The aim of the partnership is to provide secure, data-sovereign cloud services from Germany for the enterprise market.
Wiesbaden, 15 July 2025
As part of Schwarz Digits, the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, STACKIT is the cloud provider behind companies such as Lidl and Kaufland. Since entering the market in 2022, STACKIT has established itself as a GDPR-compliant, secure, and privacy-focused German alternative to international hyperscalers. With its early entry into the STACKIT partner network, the AOE Group once again underscores its commitment to data-sovereign cloud solutions in Germany.
As part of the cooperation, AOE will take on two central roles: First, it will provide end-to-end support for STACKIT customers—from cloud migration and DevSecOps to the implementation of secure platform solutions. Second, AOE will develop its own products, such as AOE DevX, and platform services based on STACKIT to meet individual requirements with the highest level of data sovereignty. In addition, AOE customers will benefit from an all-in-one service: STACKIT offerings can now be obtained directly through AOE—including consulting, operations, and technical support from a single source at attractive conditions.
In contrast to other STACKIT partnerships that focus on strategic development and AI, AOE positions itself clearly as an operational implementation and integration partner. The focus is on the realization and continuous operation of sovereign cloud infrastructures.
"With STACKIT, we have found a partner who shares our values regarding data protection, security, and digital sovereignty 'Made in Germany.' Together, we aim to create the first truly German hyperscaler, and we are very much looking forward to that," says Kian Gould, Founder and CEO of the AOE Group.
Bernie Wagner, Executive Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Schwarz Digits and CEO of STACKIT, adds: "AOE brings extensive expertise in executing complex cloud projects. Our partnership with AOE strengthens our ecosystem and helps companies shape their digital transformation in a sovereign and secure way."
Looking ahead, AOE and STACKIT plan to continuously expand their collaboration. Key focus areas will include innovative platform services, joint product development, and promoting digital sovereignty for businesses of all sizes.
