AOE, leading global service provider for digital transformation and digital business models, is now also an Adobe Gold Partner. The award underscores AOE’s extensive experience in the implementation of complex projects for international corporations, as well as in the development and advancement of sustainable solutions that enable companies to tap into new revenue streams and expand their relationships with customers.
The Adobe Experience Cloud, with its tools for marketing automation, content management, machine learning and AI, is being expanded through the acquisition of Magento and will be known as the Adobe Commerce Cloud. AOE’s customers and partners will profit from the entire Adobe system environment, as well as AOE’s many years of experience as a Magento Enterprise- and Adobe Partner.
“We are pleased to continue to deliver real value to our customers as a Gold Partner after Adobe's acquisition of Magento,” said AOE Chief Strategy Officer Steven Bailey. “With the Adobe Experience Cloud and the Adobe Commerce Cloud, we are able to provide a single customer view and expand our expertise along the entire value chain of the Adobe product offering.”
As one of the few partners worldwide, AOE has expertise in two worlds: Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. This skillset is also reflected in OM³ (Omnichannel Multi-Merchant Marketplace), a solution developed in-house, which among other things is based on Magento. OM³ is a powerful online platform that is implemented to digitalize business models. The solution is used by some of the world's largest airports and airlines, including London Heathrow, Frankfurt Airport and Singapore Airlines. These aviation heavyweights have been using the performance, scalability and versatile features of Magento/OM³ and Adobe Experience Cloud for years.
“We offer our customers a package of data-driven marketing, content- and experience management as well as individual marketplace solutions. The merger of Adobe and Magento is a logical step for us and underscores the path we have been following together with our customers for a long time,” Bailey concludes.

Distributed architectures for web applications (µService architectures) are in demand. However, without preventive measures, such systems are often more susceptible to (D)DoS attacks or overloads than monolithic dinosaurs. But why is this so? The following example quickly makes this clear.

Many medium-sized retailers believe that cybercrime does not affect them because they are too small or too uninteresting. Yet the e-commerce industry is particularly attractive to criminals. IT security can thus quickly become a business issue that web platform operators in particular should have at the top of their agenda (article in German).
