Do you know the ten most common security risks for web applications? If not, you will have the opportunity to take part in our online webinar "OWASP Top 10" as part of the AOE Academy in March. Attention trainees and students: You can win a free ticket!
The AOE Academy's OWASP Top10 training provides a basic understanding of the ten most widespread security vulnerabilities in web applications in a one-day workshop. In addition, you can perform interactive exercises in our OWASP Lab and thus directly gain real "hands-on" experience.
During the training, each type of vulnerability will be examined and tested using the OWASP Lab. This gives the participants the opportunity to gain their own experience and to continue trying out the lab after the training.
The training is conducted by Bastian Ike, Security Division Lead in AOE's Cybersecurity Team. We support companies in the implementation of IAM systems, keycloak projects, penetration tests, DevSecOps and security in microservice architectures and offer our many years of experience in this training.
Our webinar is interactive and supported by our OWASP Lab. This will give you the opportunity to perform exercises on the topics and gain "hands-on" experience. We keep the number of participants small so that you can take away as much as possible from the webinar and so that an exchange and questions are possible.
General information on the subject of cybersecurity at AOE can be found here.
The webinar will take place via Zoom, and we would ask that you have a headset and camera set up to allow for a collaborative exchange.
Our OWASP Lab runs as a standalone Docker container, with no other tools or software to install. All you need is a working Docker installation. It is also necessary to be able to access the Docker container with your web browser, as all exercises are operated directly through the web browser. All tools are already integrated, so you don't need to install or change anything on your system.
Following your participation in the webinar, you will receive a certificate of participation to your specified email from us.
Do you have any questions about the organization or the event? I will be happy to answer them by mail to email@example.com
AOE press releases
Distributed architectures for web applications (µService architectures) are in demand. However, without preventive measures, such systems are often more susceptible to (D)DoS attacks or overloads than monolithic dinosaurs. But why is this so? The following example quickly makes this clear.
AOE press releases
Many medium-sized retailers believe that cybercrime does not affect them because they are too small or too uninteresting. Yet the e-commerce industry is particularly attractive to criminals. IT security can thus quickly become a business issue that web platform operators in particular should have at the top of their agenda (article in German).
