AOE is characterized by its agile corporate culture. For us, agile methods and processes are the basis for the successful implementation of complex projects.

AOE is specialized in complex Enterprise Projects

We view AOE as a think tank for the development of the best-possible digital solutions for our clients. The projects for our global customers are complex. To develop the best-possible solution for our customers, we need an excellent team, flexible processes as well as an optimal agile organization in the company.

Why Agility?

AOE is specialized in complex projects. Complexity cannot be controlled through knowledge, as individuals, dynamic systems and markets play a significant role. It is therefore hardly possible to reliably predict all project details at the outset, as many requirements are still unknown and these also continually change during development. In complex projects, an iterative approach and flexible reaction to change is therefore key. Agile methods enable early results and take changes into account from the very beginning. To reduce complexity projects are subdivided into several sections (releases), developed, tested and put into operation. In this way, conceptual mistakes or risks can be recognized and addressed at an early stage.

Agile Organization and Culture

Successful agile projects require strong, self-organized teams with highly qualified and intrinsically motivated knowledge professionals as well as a strong sense of responsibility. An agile organization and corporate culture form the foundation for success. The structure of agile organizations differs significantly compared to traditionally organized companies. Instead of a traditional hierarchical structure with line responsibility and command & control, flexible network structures with a culture of individual responsibility and self-determined work within the team move front and center.

Agile Organizations are characterized by:

  • Network structures instead of hierarchies
  • Lean organizational processes instead of rigid structures
  • Self-determined work instead of command & control
  • Individual responsibility instead of line responsibility
  • Trust instead of control
  • Decisions by specialists instead of management

Agile Culture: Individual Responsibility and Self Determination

We are conviced that an agile corporate culture is the foundation for agile organizational structures. Employees who work in agile teams must be capable of working on projects with an individual sense of responsibility and self determination and of making informed decisions. For this reason, we actively foster a corporate culture in which we provide our employees with a high degree of trust, responsibility and decision-making freedom. This culture is reflected in a current employee survey, according to which AOE is characterized by an atmosphere of cultivation and collaboration.

Excellent Performance based on Agile Corporate Culture

Our aim is to develop successful solutions within complex projects as well as cultivating long-term partnerships with satisfied customers. To achieve these goals, we create optimal conditions with an agile organization and culture, development and expansion of excellent teams as well as utilizing agile processes and methods.
