I’m not ready for a call yet
HP Palm chose TYPO3 because the Content Management System best met the company’s requirements. Features, flexibility, and sustainability were the convincing factors for the California-based company. Open Source specialist AOE with its global setup and offices in six locations, was contracted with the implementation of the entire developer portal. TYPO3 and AOE had been recommended to Palm by the San Francisco-based design agency, Hot Studio, which also designed the user interface of the platform. Hot Studio and AOE have cooperated on a number of tech-projects in the past, including Parallels and Cisco WebEx.
As the project was to be implemented within a three-month timeframe, special attention was placed on the following three factors:
The new webOS developer portal provides high levels of performance and technology, with significant potential for future customization, while allowing the editorial team complete control over the content and its organization.
HP creates new possibilities for technology to have a meaningful impact on people, businesses, governments and society. The world’s largest technology company, HP brings together a portfolio that spans printing, personal computing, software, services and IT infrastructure to solve customer problems.
