OM³, or Omnichannel Multi-Merchant Marketplace, is an extensive platform, which multi-retailer venues such as airports can use to digitalize their non-aviation revenues, thus providing their customers a comprehensive and seamless online and offline experience.
Auckland Airport will receive a complex integrated platform that integrates on-airport retailers and provides a fully integrated logistics solution. This will give passengers who currently purchase off-airport duty free goods the option to collect them at the airport’s convenient collection points, while offering both the best of New Zealand- and global luxury brands as well as travel essentials.
The integration of parking, loyalty, lounge access and fast track features will convert Auckland Airport’s vision of the truly connected passenger experience into reality, proving that even an airport with less than 20 million passengers can create substantial revenue potentials through digitalization. The roll-out is planned for 2018.
