Your Tasks

  • Administration, maintenance, further development and continuous improvement of IT infrastructures (ESX-clusters, storage, switches)
  • Administration of Windows Servers (Exchange, Active Directory, authorization concept, group policies, high availability/failover)
  • Administration of Linux servers (Apache, Ngnix, Mysql, Tomcat)
  • The development of far-reaching automation mechanisms for our development and deployment processes (Docker, Puppet)
  • The monitoring of current operations by implementation and improvement of monitoring concepts
  • Renewal of the internal infrastructure (ESX cluster, storage, switches)
  • Task of the "Friendly Ghost": Team-rotating support of employees (Windows, Mac clients)
  • Responsible handling of security-relevant topics (updates, patches)

Your Qualifications

  • Professional experience as systems administrator
  • Good knowledge of the Windows and/or Linux server environment
  • Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis)
  • Basics of network administration
  • Analytical, structured and conscientious approach to work
  • Willingness to learn, self-organisation and team spirit
  • Open and communicative personality
  • A good command of German and English (written and spoken)

Desirable knowledge

  • Linux: Basic certification - for example LPCI-1
  • Network: Basic network cerification
  • Good scripting skills (Powershell, Bash)
  • Experience with MacOS
  • Security awareness
