Product Owner French-speaking (m/f/d) in Tangier (MAR), Paris (FRA) or Wiesbaden (GER)

AOE is a rapidly growing agile IT company with currently more than 200 employees in Wiesbaden. For our subsidiary Omnevo, with branches in Wiesbaden, Paris (FRA) and Tangier (MAR), we are looking for a qualified Product Owner (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Are you interested in taking on responsibility in an agile environment with enormous development opportunities? As the Ancillary ERP Product Owner, you will be responsible for the development of our industry-leading Ancillary ERP, enabling airlines and other travel companies to support their duty free retail and catering management business. You will be the central link between our customers and our development team. In doing so, you will drive the success of the product by ensuring product-market fit and ROI. You can expect challenging activities on an international level with numerous well-known customers.

Your tasks as Product Owner (m/f/d) – Ancillary ERP

  • Customer consulting and conception of solutions
  • Translation of customer requirements and our overall product vision into user stories and a product backlog, which you maintain together with the customer
  • Prioritization of the product backlog
  • Communicating with the customer and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Developing effort estimates with the development team and helping calculate the ROI of strategic initiatives
  • Coordinating releases with a variety of stakeholders, such as multiple development teams and different departments of the customers
     

Your qualifications

  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) – both are a must!
  • Profound experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager in software development projects
  • In-depth knowledge of web technologies
  • Practical experience in the application of agile software development methods such as Kanban or Scrum
  • Good communication & interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Confident and friendly appearance in the team as well as with the customer
  • You remain calm and focused even in stressful phases

Desirable knowledge

  • Relevant experience in the development and support of ERP systems, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with other methods from the agile environment such as Design Thinking or Lean Startup
  • Experience with creating product visions and prototypes
  • Good presentation and moderating skills
  • Fluency in German or Italian (both nice to have)
