Your Tasks as Online Editor (m/f/d)

  • Preparation of technical articles, user stories, backgrounders/whitepapers, press releases, fact sheets, etc.
  • Texts for all relevant online channels – website, social media, blogs, etc.
  • Both marketing-oriented copy production as well as editorial/journalistic writing
  • Development of own ideas for storytelling
  • Close collaboration with (Scrum or developer) teams and management for the development of new topics and content
  • Cooperation with internal communication and design teams

Your Qualifications

    • Experience with editing in or for technology companies
    • Basic technical understanding (e.g. web technologies, open source) and/or high affinity to topics of computer science or software development
    • Enthusiasm for agile software development and work processes (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
    • Interest in familiarizing yourself with new topics
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Excellent communication skills
    • High degree of initiative and independent, self-reliant work
    • Very good written and spoken German- and English-language skills (native speaker level)

    Desirable knowledge

      • Experience in dealing with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Xing, LinkedIn and YouTube)
