Your Tasks

  • Administration, maintenance, development and continuous improvement of IT-infrastructures
  • The development of extensive automation mechanisms for our development- and deployment processes together with our developers (Docker, Puppet or Chef)
  • Controlling ongoing operations by implementing and improving existing monitoring concepts
  • Support for trouble-free operations of development- and customer servers
  • Support for development teams regarding IT issues in the context of customer projects (DevOps, architecture planning, failover concepts, etc.)

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science or IT specialist training or equivalent training or university-level studies
  • First professional experience as a system administrator
  • Very good knowledge of the Linux server environment
  • Experience with Apache and Tomcat web servers
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis)
  • Fundamentals of network administration (routing, iptables)
  • Analytic, structured and conscientious way of working
  • Independent development and teamwork skills
  • Open and communicative personality
  • A good command of written and spoken German

Desirable knowledge

  • Linux (basic certification – e.g. LPCI-1 / LPCI-2)
  • Good knowledge of a programming language (Ruby, Python, PHP or Bash)
