You are interested in taking responsibility in an agile team with enormous opportunities for development as well as managing large and mostly technically complex web projects for clients such as Bosch, Fraport, congstar and Sony? As product owner, you are the main point-of-contact between the client and our development teams, ensuring project success with regard to content, deadlines and finances. You can expect a challenging job with an international focus and numerous reputable clients.

Your Tasks as Product Owner

  • Supporting the client in honing the product vision (with methods such as product vision workshops, Design Thinking or design sprints)
  • Translating customer requirements into a product backlog, which you maintain together with the customer
  • Coordination of releases with various stakeholders (e.g. different AOE development teams and different departments at the customer)
  • Control of project progress and costs as well as invoicing
  • Development of cost estimates with the development team and bid preparation
  • Communication with the client. This means that you can translate professional demands of the customer into technical requirements, but are also responsible for continuous development of the client account
  • In an environment without leadership functions, you enable the team to make the right decisions

Your Qualifications

  • You have extensive knowledge of web technologies
  • You have also have mastered agile software development methods such as Scrum or Kanban
  • A self-confident and friendly demeanor within the team as well as when interacting with the customer comes natural to you
  • You always remain calm, even in stressful situations
  • You resolve conflicts by taking the perspective of your counterpart into account
  • For you, independent action means voluntarily jumping into the deep end
  • You are characterized by attention to detail as well as a healthy dose of pragmatism
  • Completion of a technical or commercial course of study at the university level, or formal training
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and German

Additional Desirable knowledge

  • Experience with other methods from the agile toolkit, Such as Design Thinking or Lean Startup
  • Experience in creating product visions and protoypes
  • A passion for presenting and moderating
