AOE is a rapidly growing agile IT company, with currently 250+ employees worldwide. We are looking for a qualified Scrum Master (m/f/d) for permanent employment for our new office in Frankfurt.

You Tasks

  • You will enable the team to become familiar with agile procedures and values, to constantly develop them and to adhere to them
  • Since you are familiar with agile methodologies, you advise and help the PO in implementing them
  • You know the Scrum Guide by heart and are able to weigh when to follow the rules and when to adapt them
  • You are the Scrum Facilitator – solving impediments and organizing ceremonies gives you great satisfaction
  • Recognize conflicts in time and support the team in solving them
  • Each team goes through different phases – help the team to recognize these phases and to increase its maturity level
  • You will also be responsible for the development of employees as well as cooperating with our HR department
  • Growth has to do with continuous change, anticipate which team structure is right for the situation and support the team in designing the desired team setup
  • It doesn’t work completely without processes – help us to keep the processes lean and to question them again and again
  • We continuously develop our organization – as a Scrum Master you are not only part of this development, but you actively shape it

Your Qualifications

  • University degree (Master’s degree desired, but not mandatory) in social sciences or economics
  • Masterty of agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.
  • High affinity to computer science and software development topics
  • Ability to work in a team, communication and organizational skills
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English

Desirable knowledge

  • Experience in moderating, coaching and/or mediation
  • Experience in the field of personnel development
  • Experience with agile scaling techniques such as LeSS and SAFe

Our new office in Frankfurt

Our brand-new office in Frankfurt will open at the end of 2018. The office is located on Baseler Platz, five minutes' walk from the Frankfurt main train station and the Main river. For the opening, we are planning to have some 30 employees at our new location; in the future, the Frankfurt team is to be expanded to approximately 100 employees. We value an excellent working environment, freely designable workspace and a pleasant atmosphere. Having fun at work and the freedom for short time-outs are also important to us.
